Dedicated teachers present up-to-date topics through integrated, cross-curricular lessons. Project based learning provides opportunities to apply and practice basic skills while fostering creativity and collaboration within each child.
Students develop new problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through intellectually stimulating programs that provoke curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Students are encouraged to consider and honor others through the development of healthy and respectful social relationships and the practice of peaceful conflict resolution. FSMH helps all students learn about honoring diversity, valuing individual and group achievement, and contributing their strengths to the needs of the community and the world.
In addition to the academic rigor, students receive the supportive and consistent presence of the specials teachers for art, music, technology, Spanish, and physical education throughout the transition from grade to grade.
